STAGE & SCREEN IN VALENCIA

Whether on stage or screen, folks in Valencia love performances, opera, classical, jazz, flamenco, other music genres and movies. An impromptu stage appears in the city hall square at regular intervals and the public are treated to a variety of productions. They can include dance, improvised theatre or music.

Acts are performed in many other locations too. Valencia boasts many theatres as well as a unique opera house. Jazz and rock gigs are also performed live in clubs and occasionally outdoors.

Movies are highly popular with the locals which, fortunately for expats, normally run for a few days in original language versions too.
