The parades of traditionally dressed participants continue during afternoon and well into the night to offer flowers to the huge city patron, Our Lady of the Forsaken on Plaza de la Virgen.

The day closes with the Falles night of fire, Nit de Foc, a pyrotechnic firework display in the Turia Garden after midnight. Lasting some 30 minutes, this is by far the largest pyrotechnic fireworks display of the Fallas.

Nocturnal firework displays are occuring more frequently this year due to increased investment in Valencia’s love of choreographed noise.
