Getting around in Valencia is easy. Whether on foot, by bike, bus, tram or subway, the city is easy to navigate.

A maze of winding, narrow streets does its best to challenge orientational skills of most newcomers. Especially in Carmen, the old central district of Valencia. Many areas are pedestrianised while others permit entry of residential and delivery vehicles. Walking is a great way to get around the city centre.

Concentric development created many interesting central districts. Walking here can take a mere few minutes. Calculate around an hour from downtown to the beach on foot at a casual pace.
