Getting Around
WC IN VALENCIA
Some overflow with embarrassment at the topic, while others are far more laissez faire. And the spectrum in between is enormous, yet we all need to use a WC, toilet, restroom, bathroom, pissoir or vespasienne at some time.
However we may refer to that place of privacy to do what we may need to do when outdoors, the fact that every being on the planet needs to dispose of waste liquids and solids, makes the stigma even more surprising.
Rest assured, the Spaniards are pretty chilled when it comes to using the loo, or water closet, as the Victorians coined it. Unfortunately for many expats, very few public toilets can be found in Valencia.
Several modern, free to use public toilets have been constructed in the Turia and a few more are dotted across the city. Perhaps the most central is on Plaza de la Reina. Mercado Colon or the central market are two examples of convenience. The railway stations also, while a few municipal buildings enable residents to sneak in and use theirs.
Universal Availability
Yet the true source of relief comes in the form of a tapas bar. Most owners or staff will approve use when politely asked. Especially by a slightly panicked mother with a desperate child. The purchase of a cafe solo or something small may be required. That is often the case in cafes too. One issue may be wheelchair. accessability

Enticing Beaches and Sea
The main city beach in Valencia is known as Playa Malvarrosa, which includes Playa del Cabanyal. Well over two kilometres in length, this beautiful stretch of sand is as peaceful off season as it is popular during warmer weather. There is more than enough space to bathe, relax and play ball games.
