On the search for a strategic partner to help me take Amazing Capitals to the next level, I was fortunate to discover a highly motivated, creative and competent partner in Valencia.
Open minds and supportive attitudes concerning expats can be widely encountered in Valencia. The Mayor and city staff warmed immediately to the idea of sponsoring the creation a comprehensive eGuide to assist an ever increasing number of international residents relocating to the city.
A welcoming stance to the idea of partnering Amazing Capitals Valencia was also encountered among key players in the city. I proudly present my launch partners, which, alongside the Ajuntament de Valencia, are Global Omnium, Oceanografic and La Marina.
The sponsors of Amazing Capitals Valencia are varied. Under the auspices of Aguas de Valencia, Global Omnium delivers clean drinking water efficiently throughout the city and way beyond. Oceanografic offers impressive insights into marine environments to its visitors as well as supporting important preservation and environmental measures. La Marina has transformed the former port into a magnificent recreational centre combined with a highly innovative business hub. The communication department is the partner within the Ajuntament de Valencia.

GLOBAL OMNIUM
Global Omnium based in Valencia delivers water to 7 million national and international customers. The company manages more than 700,000 smart meters.
It also runs 401 wastewater treatment plants, 26 water treatment plants and a pipeline network of more than 12,000 kilometres in length. Every year, a phenomenal 5 billion data is analysed.
OCEANOGRAFIC
The Oceanografic in Valencia excites with surprising insights. Situated in the spectacular surroundings of the City of Arts and Sciences it is the largest aquarium in Europe.
Its avant-garde architecture creates a magnificent environment where the most important marine ecosystems have been faithfully reproduced.
MARINA DE VALENCIA
La Marina de València is a unique district that combines business, cultural and public activities in a maritime environment. Nestled cheerfully between the main beach of Valencia and commercial harbour, it is a phenomenal space that excites and surprises.
It covers a vast area of over one million square metres. The distance required to travel from the tip of one pier to the other adds up to an astonishing six kilometres.
The bars in Valencia serve great drinks. Many create delicious, potent cocktails. Vermouth is highly popular, whether served on ice or not. Many brands of gin are also widely available.
