Since its inception, the 10K Valencia Ibercaja by Kyprun has positioned itself as the city’s benchmark in terms of numbers for the distance. The race holds world records for both men’s and women’s 10K races. The 5K Valencia Vamos will also be held during the morning of the same day, starting at 8:15 am.
Thirteen different departures from the now legendary Paseo de la Alameda see the 5K starting from the Puente de las Flores bridge, while the 10K leaves the Puente de la Exposición bridge. Both share the finish line at the latter. This race also holds records records for both men and women.
Charitable contributions from runners go to the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Valencia. Funds are channelled to the social assistance it has launched to help cancer patients and their families affected by cancer.

CYCLING IN VALENCIA
Cycling in Valencia is fairly easy due to the city being extremely flat. It is also relatively safe, since bike paths criss-cross many areas of the city. Farther afield, cyclists can climb to higher altitudes, see a variety of landscapes and highly diverse terrains.
PLANES AND AIRPORT IN VALENCIA
The airport of Manises is a mere stone’s throw west north west of the city of Valencia. It is easily and predictably reached by metro or taxi within twenty to thirty minutes from downtown.
