Volta a Peu de les Falles
October 5 2025

The Volta a Peu de les Falles race is perhaps the most curious. Organised in cooperation with the Junta Central Fallera, the runners are dressed in traditional Fallas costumes. It has been on the annual agenda for several years.
The 5,000 metre route begins at Marqués de Sotelo Street, from where participants will run around the Ciutat Vella to then return to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento to reach the finish line in front of the City Hall façade.
To ensure everyone can enjoy this sporting event, the race will feature an “At Your Own Pace” option, aimed to include all who wish to take part and at all levels. Contestants can thus enjoy the route at a more leisurely pace. This option is non-competitive and will also include contenders who practice Nordic walking.
The aim is ensuring that children under 14 can also enjoy this type of sporting event and, over the years, become part of the event. Races of different distances are therefore held dependent upon age group and take place at the finish line, located in Valencia’s Town Hall Square.

ART VENUES IN VALENCIA
Art venues in Valencia present a magnificent range of periods and styles. Permanent and temporary collections cover the works of many local and international greats. Impressive collections cover many movements too.

STREET ART IN VALENCIA
The street art scene in this Mediterranean city is alive and thriving. Tiny, hardly noticeable, scenes vie for attention as passionately as many vast, metre-high murals. Many pieces appear harmonious, others make a more aggressive statement.
Cycling in Valencia
Cycling in Valencia is fairly easy due to the city being extremely flat. It is also relatively safe, since bike paths criss-cross many areas of the city. Farther afield, cyclists can climb to higher altitudes, see a variety of landscapes and highly diverse terrains.
