The Ironman 70.3 Valencia is a triathlon that combines a cycling, swimming and cycling with routes offering many viewing options to expat enthusiast spectators.
The swimming takes place in the beautiful Marina de Valencia with a course consisting of a single loop of 1.9 km in the sheltered waters. The swim venue provides fantastic spectators hot spots at swim start, along the course as well as at swim exit.
The bike course offers a mix of flat stretches and challenging terrains as athletes set off from the Marina de Valencia towards Sierra Calderona and back to Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. The course is over a single loop of 90km with 800m of elevation.
The 21.1 km run follows a course starting from the iconic Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, along the Turia river path and returns to the finish line. Competitors complete two laps.

AIRPORT GETAWAY
Airport getaway is very easy and quick because Manises airport is comfortably close to the city centre. The metro station for trains to Valencia is underneath the terminal. Take one escalator down from arrivals and two access departures.
